Dr. Chandra Pham
Dr.Chandra Pham grew up in San Jose, California. She went to the University of California, Berkley where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree(B.S.) in Molecule &Cell Biology. Dr. Pham went on to New York University College of Dentistry where she graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree. While at NYU ,Dr. Pham was in the top % of her class, inducted to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society, and received the Most Outstanding Student Award in the Orthodontics Honor Program. After finishing her General Practice Residency at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, Dr. Pham returned to New York University to complete her post-doctoral training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. During her residency, she gained much knowledge and experience in treating patients using conventional braces, lingual braces, Invisalign and many other modern techniques. Dr. Pham was an instructor during her residency and received the Invisa-Leader Award and a Certificate in Education. After graduating from the program, Dr. Pham returned to continue her teaching at NYU.
Dr. Pham is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Orthodontics Association (AOA) and Consortium for Translational Orthodontic Research (CTOR). She regularly attends conferences and meetings in order to remain up to date with the most current methods and technologies. During her free time, Dr. Pham enjoys cooking, watching movies, playing badminton and trying out different cuisines.
Dr. Mark Tenenbaum
Dr. Mark Tenenbaum was born and raised just north of the border in Toronto, Ontario. He attended the University of Pennsylvania, graduating as a Doctor of Dental Medicine, while earning the International Congress of Oral Implantologists Dental Predoctoral Achievement Award. Dr. Tenenbaum then moved to New York City where he worked as a general dentist.
He went on to receive his post doctoral degree in orthodontics from Maimonides Medical Center, while serving as chief resident. Dr. Tenenbaum is an active member of the American Dental Association and the American Association of Orthodontics, as well as the Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, the New York State Dental Association, and the Suffolk County Dental Society.
Dr Tenenbaum, a board eligible orthodontist, is proficient in all areas of orthodontics including Invisalign and is up to date on the newest technologies in orthodontics including TADs. When he’s not practicing orthodontics, Dr Tenenbaum enjoys playing ice hockey and having fun with his wife, daughter and son.
Dr. Mike Cotzas
Dr. Mike Cotzas grew up in upstate New York. He attended New York University where he majored in biology as an undergraduate. Dr. Cotzas went on to Columbia University, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He completed a General Practice Residency at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens. Dr. Cotzas completed his post-doctoral training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at Montefiore Medical Center.
Dr. Cotzas is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, and the New York State Dental Association.
Dr. Cotzas enjoys attending conferences in order to keep up to date with the latest techniques, technologies, newest information and methods around the country.
Dr. Justyna Balicka
We are so excited to have Dr. Justyna join us at
Gorenkoff Orthodontics. Dr. Justyna is an expert in the field of
Orthodontics and Dentalfacial Orthopedics. She is a Diplomate
of the American Board of Orthodontics and a clinical
professor for post-graduate residents at NUMC.
Dr. Justyna graduated from Stony Brook University, and received
her Bachelor’s degree in Biology with a specialization in
Neuroscience and a minor in Women’s Studies. She attended
New York University College of Dentistry where she was inducted
into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and
awarded multiple service distinctions.
Dr. Justyna has a passion for giving back, and each year she
participates in an international dental outreach program to provide
care to the underprivileged. For the past 4 years she has participated
in humanitarian projects on the islands of Grenada and Jamaica.
In her free time, Dr. Justyna enjoys cooking, gardening, kickboxing
and pilates. Together with her husband they enjoy hiking,
boating and fishing, but mostly spending family time with their 9
nieces and nephews.
Dr. Renée Nykolak
Dr. Renée Nykolak is passionate about creating beautiful smiles. She is dedicated to providing the highest level of care while utilizing the newest technologies. She strives to create a fun treatment environment and make every patient feel at home.
Dr. Nykolak was born and raised on Long Island, where she graduated top of her class from Long Beach High School. She then attended Lehigh University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and graduated with High Honors. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and graduated with Honors in Clinical Dentistry. After eight years in Pennsylvania, Dr. Nykolak moved to Michigan where she completed her specialty training in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry and earned her Masters of Science degree.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Nykolak enjoys staying active, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Orthodontists, and the Northeast Society of Orthodontists.
